On another note, it looks like Amelia might have torticollis too like Avery. How does this happen to both girls?? If you recall, this affects their neck muscle and the ability to turn your head or have straight neck. You might be asking yourself, "will Amelia have to have a helmet too?" We doubt it. Amelia's case seems less severe to us, but we will know more when we go to PT. Please keep Amelia in your prayers.
Here are a few recent pics of Amelia. I tried to get her to sit in the bumbo. She lasts about five seconds.
Pulled the bumbo up to the playmat to see if she would be happy playing with dangling toys.
She started to slip and scoot a little to the side.
"I hate this sitting thing!!"
"I mean, I really hate this sitting thing!!"
These were from a few weeks ago, but the pictures were so great that I had to share. She loves Capri Suns (which we don't buy but had leftover from her bday so she was thrilled).
I just love this pic. Getting ready to play under the spray rainbow.
Her first run under the water.
Really checking it out.
We pulled out her old baby pool from last year. She is getting a bit big for it. She was still in heaven.
So was Hagen.
Hagen thinks it is for her.
Avery is not phased that a 75 lb lab is joining her in the baby pool.
Avery kindly stepped aside to let Hagen have some fun.
Now, she says "It is my turn, ok?"
Hagen definitely is learning "taking turns"
