So behind on my postings...here are a few pictures in February around Valentine's Day.  The girls got a goodie basket, and their favorite things were the crowns and wands (from the Dollar Tree)!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amelia loves the Cozy Coupe!

First "Real" Word

Amelia makes noises all of the time.  She tries to say "Thank you," "Bye," "Hi," and I caught her real first word that we knew what she was saying.  Sorry for the horrible quality of video...guess it is time to upgrade.

Amelia's 1st Birthday

Our little Amelia turned one on December 29th!  My how this year has flown by.  She is such a joy!!  She actually took off walking on her birthday.  My mother-in-law has the video so I will have to get that and post.  So cute!  She is still babbling up a ton and repeats words in her own lingo.  We think she is trying to say "hi," "bye-bye," and "thank you."  She still says Mama and Dada but not quite sure she is calling us yet.  She is in the 50% for weight and 85% for height.  She LOVES her big sister.  Her face just lights up when she sees Avery.  They have so much fun playing together even when Avery plays rough.  We had a small immediate family dinner party at our house since it was a holiday birthday.  I promise not to shark her every year. :)  Here are a few pictures of the night.

My friend, Karen, at EmmaLemmaLou, made this for Amelia.  I saw it on etsy and thought Karen could do it...she could!  Needed something special for Amelia's birthday!

Holidays 2011 - The End

Finally, our Christmas with both girls was just wonderful.  Amelia had a great first Christmas especially since she was almost one so she was very much aware of everything around her.  A final few photos of Christmas weekend. 

The eve before Christmas Eve we had dinner at Josh's grandmother's house.  Avery getting a Barbie doll from Granny Helen (my camera focused on the tree and not the people...note to tell read Pinterest photography pins and not just pin them).

The only picture I got of Amelia all night.  She loved pushing her new walker around all night.

I was trying to get a pictures of the girls, but Avery had a rice crispy treat.  Amelia was so focused on it. 

I said "Avery, cheese."  As soon as she let go of the rice crispy treat Amelia leaned in for the taste.  It was so cute!

On to Christmas morning.  Josh and I stayed up until 1AM putting everything together and last minute wrapping for Christmas with my family.  We also made decision that Santa doesn't wrap.  Also, if you notice, I didn't finish Amelia's stocking.  Next year!

It was well worth it to see how excited they were to see what Santa brought
