Butterflies and Bluebonnets

We had a great weekend and decided to top it off by attempting going to the Zoo on Sunday at 3PM...well, the Zoo was a ZOO!  No parking anywhere.  We drove around forever and decided it wasn't going to happen until we found a back road and parked far away and walked through Herman Park Golf Course.  We ended up going to the Butterfly Exhibit at the Natural Science Museum.  It was very cool!

Trying to take a few pictures of the butterflies...they were everywhere.

 Josh and his girls!

The butterflies perched on a plate on fruit.

Me with the girls.  I look a bit tired, but I think it was just a bit steamy in there.

The next day we decided to get some pictures of the girls in the bluebonnets.

What a big girl!  Amelia - 15 months.

Avery will be three in May.

Amelia sat so perfect while Josh took Avery to potty.  (Note to self...always ask an almost three year old if they need to potty before you leave the house).

Avery's back and Amelia is definitely loving her fingers.

Avery attempting to pick a bluebonnet.  We stopped her before she could pull it.

My sweet girl!  Where did these last 15 months go??
